Rules
- The trail system operates from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (Winter hours 9:00 am to dusk). These hours apply to both daily riders and campers with ATVs.
- Helmets must be worn at all times on the trail system, even in vehicles with roll cages.
- ATVs and motorcycles are not permitted on campground roads or inside the campground. They cannot be used for general transportation inside the campground i.e. going to the beach, picking up ice or firewood etc. The only time ATV’s are allowed on campground roads is if you are driving from your campsite to the trailhead.
- All ATV participants must fill out a waiver and pay before riding at The Cove.
- Drinking and driving is absolutely prohibited on the trail system.
- While the Cove welcomes campers with ATVs, due to high volumes of people, we no longer allow camping with ATVs during holiday weekends (including Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day and Columbus Day weekends)
Tip & Tricks
The Cove offers over 30 miles of marked trail for the ATV and Motorcycle communities to enjoy, ranging from just two miles to over 20 miles in length. The trail system starts and stops at a convenient central area that serves as a parking area for those who wish to tackle the diverse terrain.
